NYC, NY - December 13, 2006 - Verifone Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) Chairman and CEO Douglas G. Bergeron will ring The Opening BellSM at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday. While in New York City, he will also host the company’s 2006 Technology Conference and Innovation Leadership Awards ceremony.
Verifone will participate in the ceremonial opening of the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow to celebrate last week’s announcement of record revenue and earnings for fiscal year 2006. Verifone commenced trading as a public company on April 29, 2005.
Mr. Bergeron has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Verifone since July 2001, when he led the leveraged buyout of the company from Hewlett-Packard Company.
Later Thursday, Verifone will host its 2006 Technology Conference for Investors and honor four organizations selected for its 2006 Innovation Leadership Awards.
